Children of the Wild West, we grew up dreaming of the "blacks and bays, and dapples and grays," of bison under the prairie moon dancing across acres of untamed, unfenced fescue caressing the shadow of the Rocky Mountains. But having reeled against the impacts of multiple recessions brought on by corporate interests, both as children and adults, we moved East to meet those visions. Now we’re pursuing self-sufficiency and a financially and ecologically debt-free existence.
